Vogue The Jewellery

Have you seen Vogue’s beautiful new jewellery book?

The book called Vogue The Jewellery contains over 300 images celebrating the precious jewels that have featured in the magazine over the last century.

“I think the book shows that jewellery has been central to the story of theVogue woman, throughout the last century, telling the narrative of dress every bit as much as fashion. From early black-and-white illustrations to digital images today, there’s been a parade of pearls, precious stones, diamonds, scene-stealing tiaras and fancy-faux extravaganzas that have transformed fashion images with a sense of drama, romance and magic.” – Carol Woolton – the author of the book and Vogue’s jewellery editor.

The hardback book which will be published on October 8, priced £75. includes photographs by David Bailey, Cecil Beaton, Corinne Day, Norman Parkinson, Irving Penn, Mario Testino and Bruce Weber.
